<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using previous functions of a card application so that users can use them after they change their portable terminals to new ones, in order to solve a problem in conventional methods in which the card application stored in a USIM provides services in cooperation with a terminal application stored in a portable terminal which is downloaded and used by users as necessary, and the card application is moved to a new model along with the USIM when changing models, however, previous functions of the card application cannot be used as corresponding portable terminal application has not been installed yet in the new model changed. <P>SOLUTION: Card application-specific information of the card application stored in a USIM and terminal-specific information are passed to a retrieval system, and based on this information, the retrieval system sends adaptable terminal application information to the portable terminal as search results and displays them in the portable terminal to allow users to select and download terminal applications as necessary. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
