<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately determine and infrequently misrecognize a motion input from intuitive and simple operations, without putting much burden on operators even during long-time operations. <P>SOLUTION: A display 111 is placed in front of an operator 102. The operator 102 can perform operations by keeping in mind that shapes of a finger, etc. are relevant to an operation determination, in a range set at fixed positions at the right and the left between the operator 102 and the display 111. The present invention allows input of a position decision and an operation determination into a system by independently moving a right hand 114 and a left hand 115 on right- and left-hand sides of the display 111, viewing from the operator 102.
