<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of a vehicle-mounted imaging apparatus in which an image of a human body or an object in front captured on a rainy night is blurred due to reflected light from a road surface. <P>SOLUTION: An image previously captured on a clear night and stored in a memory is referred to and compared with an image captured on a rainy night. If a difference between the luminance values of both of the images is not smaller than a predetermined value, it is determined that a corresponding region or pixel is made by the reflection light, and a signal is changed to a signal having a predetermined brightness. In another manner, a polarization filter is used to capture an image, thereby preventing entering of the reflection light.
