<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument pointer which enhances light utilization efficiency, achieves high brightness, and thereby further improves visibility. <P>SOLUTION: A pointer body 25 includes: a light incident surface 15 on which light is made incident; a reflecting surface 17 for reflecting the light incident from the light incident surface 15; and a sawtooth-shaped fine irregular prism 23 which emits the light reflected on the reflecting surface 17 to an outside 21 from a light incident surface 19 through single reflection. In the pointer body, the reflecting surface 17 directly emits the reflected light to the sawtooth-shaped fine irregular prism 23, and the sawtooth-shaped fine irregular prism 23 is formed on a distribution surface of a rear surface 31 of the pointer body, which has a different relative angle with respect to the reflecting surface 17, according to the density of the light reflected on the reflecting surface 17. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
