<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hard coat film in which direct printing can be applied on a hard coat film by a thermal transfer printing method, and to provide a decorated hard coat film which has no generation of interference fringes after the printing. <P>SOLUTION: The decorated hard coat film is characterized in that decoration is performed on the surface of a hard coat layer in a hard coat film, wherein the hard coat layer is provided at least on any one surface of a base material by a thermal transfer printing method using a thermal transfer ribbon obtained by performing lamination at least in order of a colored ink layer and an adhesive layer essentially consisting of a thermoplastic resin on the base material.
