<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic capacitor which is adapted to prevent the functioning of a gas venting valve from decreasing by minimizing sticking of the internal electrolyte of a case to a vapor-liquid separation film of the gas venting valve. <P>SOLUTION: In the electrolytic capacitor having an electrolyte-impregnated capacitor element 3 accommodated in a case 2 having an opening at the top end thereof, with the opening of the case 2 sealed by a sealing plate 4 which is provided with a gas venting valve 8 having vapor-liquid separation film 12, the sealing plate 4 has a hollow protrusion 17 communicating with the gas venting valve 8 disposed therein protruding to the inside of the case 2, and also has a wall part 18 disposed around the hollow protrusion 17 inside the case 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
