WINCH DEVICE FOR WHEELCHAIR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a winch device for a wheelchair, detecting slack when a traction member slightly slacks regardless of the amount of the wound traction member of a drum.

SOLUTION: The winch device for a wheelchair pulls up the wheelchair into a cabin and pulls down the wheelchair out of the cabin. The winch device includes: traction members connected to the wheelchair; drums for winding and delivering the traction members; driving parts for rotationally driving the drums; and direction changing members for the traction members. Means for detecting slack of the traction members are provided near the direction changing members.
