<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gasket capable of maintaining the sealing performance of a side where a clearance is reduced even if oil pressure is applied to the gasket so as to shift a gasket body to one side in the axial direction in a fitting groove, in the gasket formed by disposing seal beads on both ends, respectively, in the axial direction of the gasket body in which a reinforcing ring is buried. <P>SOLUTION: The gasket includes: the gasket body in which the reinforcing ring is buried; a first seal bead which is disposed at one side end in the axial direction of the gasket body and comes into close contact with one side lateral surface of the fitting groove upon the fitting; and a second seal bead which is disposed at the other side end in the axial direction and comes into close contact with the other side lateral surface of the fitting groove upon fitting. When oil pressure is applied to the gasket, the gasket body is shifted to one side in the axial direction in the fitting groove. A third seal bead is disposed in parallel with the second bead so as to compensate sealing performance deterioration caused by the clearance reduction of the second seal bead accompanied by the shift of the gasket body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
