<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heated toilet seat device capable of forcibly shutting off electric current-carrying utilizing a principle of induction heating when an abnormal temperature of a toilet seat is detected. <P>SOLUTION: The heated toilet seat device includes an induction heating coil, an inductor induction heated by a magnetic field generated by the induction heating coil, a toilet seat provided with the inductor, a first temperature detection part and a second temperature detection part for detecting the abnormal temperature of the toilet seat, a first current-carrying control part capable of shutting off electric current-carrying to the induction heating coil, an induction heating control part for controlling a current-carrying amount to the induction heating coil, and a control part for controlling the first current-carrying control part. The induction heating control part performs the control to stop electric current-carrying to the induction heating coil when the abnormal temperature is detected in the first temperature detection part. The control part performs the control to forcibly shut off electric current-carrying to the induction heating coil by the first current-carrying control part when the abnormal temperature is detected in the second temperature detection part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
