<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of displaying, even when the display start timing is delayed, an image reducing the difficulty of seeing specific information included in the image. <P>SOLUTION: In a head-mounted display, an image is displayed on the retina by a two-dimensional scanning of beam light, which is output corresponding to an image signal in reply to a BD signal. Based on one-side scanning information 320 included in image information 300 of a display target, a one-side scanning range is specified.
