<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a capsule toner, in which production of coarse powder can be suppressed and a resin coating layer with uniform film thickness can be formed, and to provide the capsule toner. <P>SOLUTION: The production method of a capsule toner includes a step of preparing a dispersion liquid of resin fine particles, a step of preparing resin fine particles, a deposition step, a spraying step and a film forming step. The step of preparing resin fine particles uses a 4-fluid nozzle, in which a dispersion liquid of resin fine particles is made to flow through two liquid flow passages while a spray gas is made to flow in two gas flow passages, and the dispersion liquid of resin fine particles together with the spray gas is sprayed through the 4-fluid nozzle so as to volatilize the dispersion medium to obtain dried resin fine particles. The dried resin fine particles thus obtained are deposited on the surfaces of toner base particles in the deposition step. In the spraying step and in the film forming step, the resin fine particles deposited on the toner base particle surfaces are softened to form a resin coating layer on the toner base particle surfaces. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
