Holder for facade cladding panels and facade cladding composed of sheet metal cladding panels

The holder (1) has a channel like profile including a profile bar (1.1) for attaching the holder at a sub structure, and profile arms (1.3) with hook like projections (1.4) for suspending or securing a sheet metal covering panel (2). The arms outwardly protrude in a mounting condition. Each arm is bent so that each arm defines fastening flanges (1.5). The flanges lie in a plane spaced at a distance opposite to a plane of the profile bar. The projections are bent relative to the flanges and integrally connected with the flanges. An independent claim is also included for a facade cladding comprising sheet metal covering panels.
