PNEUMATIC TIRE

PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire is provided to secure block rigidity by enhancing the shape of main grooves and horizontal grooves forming in a shoulder part which affects to drainage. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire(1) includes shoulder main grooves(9a) and shoulder horizontal grooves(10a). The shoulder main groove comprises curved groove members(15) that are recessed toward the tire equator. The curved groove members are formed to be arranged in the tire peripheral direction. Each curved groove member comprises a first slope part(15a) and a second slope part(15b). The first slope part is inclined to one side with respect to the tire peripheral direction. The second slope part is inclined to the other side with respect to the tire peripheral direction. The shoulder horizontal groove is smoothly connected to the first inclined part of the curved groove member.
