PURPOSE: Charcoal and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to soften and improve the taste of meat using anions and far infrared ray and to incorporate the harmless characteristics of the charcoal. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing charcoal includes the following: 85 weight% of charcoal powder based on wood powder or rice hulls, 10 weight% of mineral powder, and 5 weight% of bentonite are stirred to obtain a mixture; and the mixture is compression-molded and is hardened at a temperature between 25 and 30 degrees Celsius for 24 hours or more. The mineral powder is a mixture based on one or more selected from jade powder, zeolite powder, elvan powder, tourmaline powder, and yellow soil powder. |
