Slide fastener particularly for use in bed covers is of plastic monofilament and the carrying bands, the rows of locking elements and the operating slide are resiliently transformed at ironing or mangling temperature. The operating slide is adapted to withstand as a whole and in any location perpendicular pressures on the slide fastener surface of 160 kg/cm2 or more by mutual support of the materials. Specifically, the slide fastening elements are in the form of spiral plastic monofilament, pref. polyester resins, polyamide or glass fibre reinforced polyester. |
