PURPOSE: A compound and Sophora flavescens extract containing the same, fraction thereof is provided to prevent or treat diseases. CONSTITUTION: A composition for enhancing immunity through interferon-beta expression induction contains one or more compounds among chemical formulas 1-8 or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. The composition additionally contains Stevia rebaudiana extract or stevioside. A composition contains Sophora flavescens extract or fraction thereof as an active ingredient. A feed additive contains the composition for enhancing immunity. A method for enhancing immunity of an individual with reduced immunity except for human comprises a step of administering the composition to an individual which needs immunity enhancement.
