The invention relates to a system and method to reduce refrigerated air leaving an open deck display cabinet, and includes a deflector (air catching unit) positioned at the bottom of the display cabinet. The display cabinet includes an air curtain refrigerated air flow, and the deflector redirects refrigerated air which might otherwise escape back into the cabinet. The use of the deflector reduces waste of refrigerated air and improves efficiency of the cabinet arrangement. |
