PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photographing apparatus capable of notifying the erroneous focusing of a photographed picture of a photographer suitably. SOLUTION: In the operation of the photographing apparatus, a picture split screen for dividing a photographed picture into nine pieces is displayed on an LCD display while image data of the photographed picture are written into a work memory (S100, S110). At this state, when a cursor is aligned with a desired split area and a predetermined button is manipulated, the split area aligned with the cursor is set to an area to be determined and erroneous focusing determination processing for determining the erroneous focusing for the area to be determined is executed (S120, S130). The result of the determination is outputted and the image data are written into a storage medium (S140, S150).
