<p>Compsn. comprising 5-chloro-7-iodoquinoline and the complex 2,4,5-trichlorophenol/triisobutyl phosphate. The quinoline component is well-known for activity against coliform bacilli and the complex is a known fungicide. The combination has a wider spectrum of activity than the components, and is useful in the treatment of infectious diarrhoea, enterocolitis and general disorders of the GI tract. Compsn. pref. contains 1% of complex and 99% of the quinoline.</p> |
