<p>Appts. for separating particles of 100 mu comprises an enclosed stack of identical filter elements composed of flexible sheet material, each element having several spaced projections integral with one etch-roughened surface. The stack can be compressed to cause the projections of the surface of each element to engage against those of the adjacent element and these projections define passages allowing flow of fluid to occur between the elements. The latter have central openings which serve as fluid inlets or outlets.</p> |
