PURPOSE: A sealing agent for root barrier construction, a manufacturing method thereof, and a construction method for a root barrier are provided to prevent water from flowing into the bottom of a waterproof layer. CONSTITUTION: A construction method for a root barrier is as follows. Root barrier sheets(10) with adhesive are attached on one surface of a macromolecule synthetic resin sheet to be overlapped with an object. Metal thin film tapes(20) are attached on the joint parts between the root barrier sheets. A sealing agent(100) with metal powder is spread on both ends of the metal thin film tapes.
