PURPOSE: A mixed plant extract and a cosmetic composition containing the same are provided to ensure antioxidation, antiinflamamtion, antibacterial activity, cell proliferation and allergy prevention. CONSTITUTION: A mixed plant extract contains 0.001-5 wt% of Larix leptolepis Sieb. et Zucc. cordon, Rheum Palmatum, Asarum sieboldii Miq., Quercus mongolica Fisch, Persicaria hydropiper L. Spach, Illicium verum, Corydalis turtschaninovii Bess., Coptis japonica, and Machilus thunbergii S. et Z. extract. The extract is prepared using water, anhydrous or hydrous alcohol containing 1-4 carbon atoms, acetone, ethyl acetate, hexane, benzene, chloforom, glycerin, ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, or butylene glycol.
