Process for dosing powdered material, pref. intermitently, esp., chemicals for furnace cleaning and corrosion prevention, employs a revolving drum fitted with one or more outlets. The drum is mounted above a collecting hopper, so that as the outlets pass through the lower arc, the material flows through the hopper to the supply point. Advantages are accurate dosing and freedom from clogging. |
