The drive may include a clutch 2 between the pump and a diesel engine 1 and the signals 9 and 10 may be linked in a logic device 7. Instead of disconnecting the clutch, the signal from the device 7 may switch off the diesel engine or apply a brake to the servo drive. A cam-operated micro-switch, which may be used as a digital counter, may provide the signal from the motor 5. The pump and motor may be replaced by a Ward- Leonard unit or an electrical servo system. |
