<p>The invention relates to a system and method for controlling an aircraft engine starter/generator. The system includes: a transmission gearbox (20) having a fixed gear ratio, said transmission gearbox being intended for mechanical coupling with a turbine shaft (12) of the engine, thus making it possible to start the latter; a gearbox (40), having multiple gear ratios, that is mechanically coupled with a pinion of the transmission gearbox; a starter/generator (30) that is mechanically coupled with a pinion of the gearbox; and a means for controlling a change in the gear ratio of the gearbox on the basis of the mode of operation of the starter/generator.</p> |
