<p>Surface structures of inorganic fibres, e.g. glass fibre textile material, after desizing are treated with a soln. containing an adhesive agent, a soln. or dispersion of a silicic acid ester, that can be partly or completely condensed, and preferably a silicic acid cpd. e.g. a silicic acid sol. or optionally inorganic pigments othe rthan silicic acid cpds. The adhesive agent is pref. organofunctional silicon cpds. cation active chromium complex of (unsaturated) organic acid or mixture of such chromium complex and organofunctional silicon cpd. in a concentration of 2-50g/litre e.g. 7-20 g/litre. The fibrous structures have good flexibility and adhesion to organic polymers.</p> |
