A method for inspecting an outward appearance of a liquid crystal display panel and a method for fabricating a liquid crystal display panel by using the same are provided to improve the productivity by reducing time required for inspecting an outward appearance of the liquid crystal display panel, and prevent damage of the liquid crystal display panel or an accident by handling the liquid crystal panel through mechanical operation. A liquid crystal panel(100) is transferred to an outward appearance inspection unit. The liquid crystal panel is arranged to place the liquid crystal panel between support members(170). The arranged liquid crystal panel is fixed by using fixing members(175) installed on the support members. The support members are lifted to move the liquid crystal panel to a predetermined height. An outward appearance of the liquid crystal panel is inspected.
