Abacus studying apparatus using touch screen and method thereof

PURPOSE: An apparatus for learning an abacus and a method thereof are provided to maximize a mathematical principle capability of children by causing the interest of the children about the abacus. CONSTITUTION: A sensor(10) senses a touch state of a touch pad. A learning control part(20) controls the display and movement of abacus counters via the touch screen in a learning mode. The abacus counters driving part(30) controls the movement of the abacus counters according to an inclination of a learner. An operation unit(40) displays an operation value in the touch screen according to the movement of the abacus counters. A memory unit provides abacus image data and information for each theme to the learning control part. A learner recognition part outputs auditory and sensory situation data according to the learning control part.
