PURPOSE: A dual-band reception apparatus and method thereof are provided to effectively eliminate an aliasing effect generated between two signals by using an analog to digital converter. CONSTITUTION: An ADC(Analog to Digital Converter)(50) changes a dual-band analog radio signal into a dual base band digital signal. A first signal extraction unit(61) generates first and second route signals from the dual base band digital signal. The first signal extraction unit extracts a first base band signal by using a simple delay difference between first and second route signals. The dual base band signal is composed of the first and second base band signal.
