A device and a method for structuring a checkpoint memory based a distributed data structures are provided to improve space usability of the checkpoint memory, shorten a program development time, and reduce a manufacturing cost by storing check status data having various types of data structures to the checkpoint memory in entity unit. A generating module generates a data storage area, which stores check status data for a service provided to at least one client computer(3001-300N) according to a type of a data structure in entity unit, in a checkpoint memory(140,240). A checkpoint memory managing module(130,230) stores or deletes the status data of the data storage area by using metadata of the data storage area. The status data includes at least one of a user name, an IP(Internet Protocol) address, a file name, and a current frame. The type of the data structure includes at least one of an array, a stack, and a pointer. The checkpoint memory managing module includes at least one of a checkpoint database managing module, a section database managing module, an offset managing module, and a free-list managing module.
