PURPOSE: A DC driving type ceramic heater for a portable heater using batteries is provided to improve the electric stability and the lifetime of the ceramic heater by reducing the power consumption amount of a charger. CONSTITUTION: A DC driving type ceramic heater comprises the following: a heating element(50) including a resistance pattern on the upper side of a lower sheet(12) formed with an alumina material; a connection electrode(50a) formed on the resistance pattern, for being connected to a lead line(30); and an inlet hole(20) for inserting the lead line, formed on the rear side of an upper sheet(11). The heating element is produced by using resistant paste selected from tungsten, molybdenum, or their compound. A porous powder layer is formed on the bottom of the lower sheet.
