PULSATILLA KOREANA EXTRACTS COMPOSITIONS FOR TREATING OR PREVENTING INFLAMMATORY DISEASES

PURPOSE: A composition containing Pulsatilla koreana extract is provided to suppress immunocyte proliferation and acute/chronic inflammation. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing and treating inflammatory diseases contains Pulsatilla koreana extract as an active ingredient. The extract contains 1.0-10.0 wt% of arctigenin as a marker. A food composition for preventing inflammatory diseases contains the extract as an active ingredient. A method for preparing the extract comprises: a step of extracting Pulsatilla koreana with water, alcohol, or an alcohol solution, cooling and filtering; a step of decompressing at 50-90°C; and a step of adding alcohol and centrifuging at 700-1,200 rpm.
