PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing high-density lipoprotein nanoparticles is provided to enhance compliance of a patient due to improved drug loading rate. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing high-density lipoprotein nanoparticles for delivering in-soluble drugs comprises: a step of dissolving phospholipid and insoluble drug in chloroform/methanol solvent(2:1, v/v) and drying under nitrogen gas to form a thin film; a step of emulsifying the thin film in a buffer solution containing detergent; a step of adding HDL apolipoprotein to the emulsifying solution at 2-4°C for 5-7 hours; a step of dialyzing the reacted solution and removing solvent. The insoluble drug is paclitaxel, tacrolimus, or vincristine. The solvent is sodium cholate.
