The dust collector (1) has an electromotively driven roller (3) including a hub (6) and a tread lining (7), where contour of the lining is moved over breadth for planar two-dimensionality by different column or rib shaped supports of the lining by preset loading. The lining overhangingly extends over a part of the breadth in cross-section, and is formed in an overhanging region with stability changing over the breadth of the lining. The lining extends in clear span between supporting bodies. Molding parts are arranged in circumference intermediate space between the bodies. The tread lining is made of external sided spray-coated flexible foam. The supporting bodies are made of hard plastics. The molding parts are made of flexible plastic or foam.
