The invention relates to veterinary medicine, in particular to parasitology and can be used for prophylaxis and treatment of ectoparasitosis in hens.The method for prophylaxis and treatment of ectoparasitosis in hens consists in the aerosol treatment of hens with 3% aqueous solution of extract obtained by hydroalcoholic extraction from the aboveground parts of Dalmatian pyrethrum Pyrethrum cinerariifolium Trev. with subsequent drying, in a dose of 50 ml per hen. At the same time, for prophylaxis the treatment is carried out once, and for treatment twice with an interval of 14 days.
