Disclosed is a process for the preparation of thiophosphoric triamides from ammonia and thiophosphoric amido-dichlorides, wherein the starting materials are mixed with each other, and reacted, in a back-mixing-free manner, and the concentration of the amido-dichloride in the mixing device is at all times below 0.2 (mol/mol) percent of the reaction mixture based on the volume of the reaction mixture.
