PURPOSE: A composition for improving collagen synthesis including collagen hydrolysate, protein hydrolysate, vitamin, and mineral is provided to improve bioavailability, safety, and skin regeneration effect. CONSTITUTION: A composition for improving collagen synthesis comprises collagen hydrolysate, protein hydrolysate, vitamin, and mineral. The collagen hydrolysate comprises collagen peptide. An average molecular weight of the collagen hydrolysate is 1000Da or less. The collagen hydrolysate is obtained either from mammal or fishes. The protein hydrolysate comprises glutamine or glutamine peptide. The vitamin comprises vitamin C. The mineral comprises calcium. The composition comprises 50-95 weight% of collagen hydrolysate, 4-50 weight% of protein hydrolysate, 0.1-30 weight% of vitamin, and 0.1-30 weight% of mineral based on composition total weight. Cosmetic compositions for prevention of skin aging, improvement and prevention of skin wrinkle, wound healing, or skin texture restoration and regeneration include the composition for improving collagen synthesis as the active ingredient.
