Disclosed is a triazolopyridine 11-beta hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase inhibiting compound, enantiomer, diastereomer, or salts thereof, of formula Iaa, Idd or Iee, wherein the substituents are as described within the specification. Further disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula Iaa, Idd or Iee, and the use of a compound of formula Iaa, Idd or Iee in the manufacture of a medicament for treating, preventing or slowing the progression of diabetes, hyperglycemia, obesity, dislipidemia, hypertensioncognitive impairment, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, glaucoma, Cushing's disease and metabolic syndrome in a mammalian patient.
