Provided is a process for producing a plant with increased weight, said process comprising soaking a seed, which can germinate and begin to grow into said plant, in a solution comprising an N-substituted (6-haloalkylpyridin-3-yl) alkyl sulfoximine of formula (I) with defined substituents. Further provided are seeds treated with the compound.
