PURPOSE: A shaft for a golf club capable of extending the flight distance of a golf ball is provided to install a weight on the specific position on the shaft for preventing the curving of the shaft. CONSTITUTION: A shaft(10) for a golf club comprises a weight(W) installed on the region 60-180mm far from the front end(P) of the shaft for combing in the shaft and a head(11). The weight of the weight is 3-20g. The weight is fixed inside a main body of the shaft, or detachably installed on the peripheral part of the shaft. The weight is formed with tungsten.
