METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING AN EVOLVED UTRAN

PURPOSE: An E-UTRAN(Evolved-Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network) supporting method and system thereof are provided to enable UTRAN to perform handover to E-UTRAN by measuring an E-UTRAN channel. CONSTITUTION: A processor creates a message displaying E-UTRAN capability information. The capability information includes a mark for supporting an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Mode) and for performing handover to E-UTRAN. A transmission apparatus transmits the message from an UTRAN channel to an UTRAN base station. A reception apparatus receives an E-UTRAN service by responding to the message.
