Disclosed is the use of 1-(3-(2-(1-benzothiophen-5-yl)ethoxy)propyl)azetidin-3-ol and its derivatives for the manufacture of a medicament for enhancing protein kinase C activity, and particularly for the treatment of neoplastic diseases such as tumors, and glucose metabolism disorders.
