<p>u Nontherapeutic photoprotection of human keratin materials against solar UV radiation, comprises applying a cosmetic composition comprising a dispersion of photonic particles having an average size of 1-500 mu m, where the photonic particle comprises monodispersed nanoparticles with diffracting arrangements, and the diffraction spectrum of this arrangement comprises a first order reflection peak having a wavelength of 250-400 nm. An independent claim is included for the photoprotective cosmetic composition comprising a dispersion of photonic particles having an average size of 1-500 mu m.</p> |
