<p>The seat (1) has an energy absorption unit (10) whose one end (11) is fixed to a bucket seat (2) and another end (12) is mobile with respect to a frame (6). An anti-vibration inhibiting unit (30) neutralizes an anti-vibration unit (20) e.g. magnetic dampener, when the bucket seat is subjected to acceleration greater than a predetermined threshold during reaching of the bucket seat to a floor pan (9). The inhibiting unit is connected to the latter end by a connection unit (40). An independent claim is also included for a method for protecting an individual seated on an anti-crash seat.</p> |
