CONTAINER WITH SEALING LID USING LOCKING ARMS AND A FRAME WITH RETAINING ARMS

A releasable resealable container system consisting of a container with a lip around an opening for engaging and sealing with a lid and a lid shaped to engage with the container opening rim. The lid consists of a cover body and a frame, the lid body has at least two locking arms that engage with the container rim to lock the lid in a sealed position, the locking arms are engaged or disengaged by the movement of the frame relative to the lid. The frame has retaining arms operated by a release handle that latch onto the container lip to securely retain the lid assembly. The locking and retaining arms are flexibly hinged to their respective lid components. The lid body contains a gasket to form an interference fit between the lid and the container rim. The container forms a polygonal shape, the locking arms are located to operate on opposite sides of the container, and the retaining arms operate on different container sides to those having locking arms
