ADHESIVE FOR POLARIZING PLATE AND POLARIZING PLATE COMPRISING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An adhesive for polarizing plate is provided to have excellent adhesion, water resistance and optical properties maintaining low viscosity, to improve thermal impact properties, especially to use for a substrate on which both sides are blocked by UV-ray. CONSTITUTION: An adhesive composition for a polarizing plate comprises 5-70 parts by weight of one or more kinds of acrylic monomer having a hydrophilic group, 0.5-10 parts by weight of a radical polymerization initiator, 30-90 parts by weight of an epoxy resin, 1-10 parts by weight of an iodine initiator and 0.0001-5 parts by weight of a photosensitizer. The hydrophilic group is a hydroxy group(-OH). The epoxy resin comprises a first epoxy compound containing one or more epoxidized aliphatic cyclic groups, and a second epoxy compound containing one or more glycidyl ether group.
