<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing system improving responsiveness in printing while suppressing an increase in memory load; and a printer. <P>SOLUTION: In a printing system 500, a print job based on the same print object is registered in each of printers 201, 202 and 203 from a PC 100. The print job registered in each printer is in non-development state. In the printing system 500, printing is started when a user inputs a print instruction of the print job to one of the printers. Development of the print job is started in at least one of the printers 202 or 203 when, for example, printing of the print job is instructed to the printer 201 or when printing becomes impossible in the middle of the printing of the print job. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
