<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which only a drum unit can be replaced in such a state that a developing device is left in the apparatus, while preventing foreign matter from adhering to the irradiation surface of an exposure device. <P>SOLUTION: A color printer 1 includes: a photoreceptor 21; an electrifying part 22; an exposure part 23; a developing part 24; a drum unit 51 which can be attached and detached to and from the apparatus and includes the photoreceptor 21 and the electrifying part 22, but not includes the exposure part 23 and the developing part 24; a developing part moving part (a cam 65 and a link 66) which moves the developing part 24 between a development position having an arrangement capable of developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the photoreceptor 21 and a distant position away from the photoreceptor 21; and a shutter 67 which is moved between a shield position where the shutter 67 covers the irradiation surface of the exposure part 23 and an exposure position where the shutter 67 does not cover the irradiation surface of the exposure part 23, in conjunction with the movement of the developing part 24 by the developing part moving part and is in the exposure position, when the developing part 24 is in the development position and in the shield position, when the developing part 24 is in the distant position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
