<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide content that allows a user to efficiently access desired information. <P>SOLUTION: When a user gives an instruction to start image display (S30), an initial image is displayed (S32). When the user operates an input device to input a viewpoint movement request (Y in S34), it is successively monitored whether a display area is included in a link area set for an active image. When the display area is included in the link area, a link in the link area is determined as valid (Y in S36), and a linked-to image associated with the link area is displayed (S44). It is further monitored whether the display area lies off a link area set for a link source image. When even part of the display area lies off the link area, a link in the link area is determined as invalid (Y in S38), and display is returned to the link source image (S40). When either is not the case, display is continued while the display area is moved in the active image according to viewpoint movement (N in S36, N in S38, S42).
