<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for vibration control of a rising pipe of a vertical pump. <P>SOLUTION: An apparatus 10 for the vibration control of the rising pipe 3 of the vertical pump is provided. During operation, the vibration occurs in the rising pipe, the rising pipe 3 has a longitudinal direction. The device 10 can be positioned outside from the rising pipe, and includes vibration elements 7.1, 7.2, one or a plurality of spring elements 8.1-8.4 and a guide. The vibration element has an opening to surround the rising pipe 3 and is movably and elastically held by one or a plurality of the spring elements 8.1-8.4. The vibration elements 7.1, 7.2 are guided by the guide so that movement of the vibration elements during the operation is restricted to the movement within a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rising pipe. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
